I adopted my three best friends from here and could not be more satisfied. The process was easy, and the staff truly does care about their animals and their welfare. I would highly recommend adopting through Aggieland Humane when looking for your next best friend.
Very friendly staff and adopting a pet is very simple and fast. I recommend because it helps a pet find a home. They are all given their shots, neutered and spayed. They also are chipped as well. Great place. I'd go back for another pet if I had more room. 10/10

The Aggieland Humane Society is THE BEST. They were so helpful and kind when I brought in a stray that had been running in a road, they made him feel right at home. It’s amazing to find a place that doesn’t write dogs off for being skittish and scared, but gives them a chance. I’ve had other shelters be ready to euthanize dogs right away just because they don’t warm up immediately, so it’s so amazingly refreshing to see AHS give them a way to find a good home. You guys are awesome!!!
We a great 5 1/2 Lab Retriever that now has a forever home with us. The staff is professional, kind and caring. A few years ago we adopted a five year old cat that part of our family. Puppies and Kittens are cute but older dogs and cats give love too. This a first rate facility and second to none
Aggieland Humane Society has the sweetest, most caring people. I adopted a furbaby from them that I fell in love with. Pecan Pie. Unfortunately, he wasn't the perfect fit for me, and I had to take him back. With tears flowing and guilt, having to give this baby back was so difficult.
They were so understanding and compassionate. They allowed me time to spend with him, feeling my pain.
When I left, they were walking him to the kennel, and he was doing so well.
After crying for an hour and getting back to work, I looked on the website, and there was his picture, in a doggy bed, looking so handsome. The best part was he had already fostered out, which made my heart smile.
I know more, that he will find that perfect person or family loving him as much as I, but giving him the play time of running, playing ball, Frisbee, all the things he loves my body wouldn't allow.

We recently adopted a small dog from these guys. The whole experience has been wonderful. They were helpful and kind to deal with. Cosmo now has a forever home.
I have a friend who is moving and can't take her dog with her. This place said it may take months to find a place for her dog. She doesn't have months. She needs help now. She doesn't want to just drop her dog off in the country because that isn't very humane.
What a joke this place is, they’re taking your donations and building nice facilities and not taking in animals for ridiculous reasons and threatening people who try and help with animal abandonment. Stop donating Money to this facility
This place was absolutely horrible with trying to adopt a dog. The employees were rude and dismissive, and the policies are ridiculous. Emails are not checked until the day after animals are posted, and they are not checked in order. If you really want an animal and are in line for a specific one, it won’t matter unless you are first. We were second in line to adopt a specific dog, called and visited multiple times to only be shut down, and when the people first in line decided against adopting the dog, we went as soon as we could THAT DAY to adopt the dog. Turns out, after the first family it becomes “first come first serve” and you claim dogs by grabbing their card. The policies and service is so ridiculous and creates such a stressful experience to even try and adopt a dog. Disgusting experience, undeserving of the Aggieland name.
